In the heart of Norfolk, a building with a rich history stands as Northern Hills Child Care—committed to nurturing the complete development, well-being, and education of children. Originally constructed in 1920, the Northern Hills Elementary school has witnessed the growth of generations.

Over the years, it has evolved.

In 2012, the building's story took a new turn as Liz & Zach Sudbeck took the reins, running a vibrant child care program until December 2022.

Then, in May 2023, The WELL, a Norfolk-based nonprofit established in 1991, recognized the potential of this space to embraced the vision of providing an inclusive and nurturing environment for children.

This building has been more than brick and mortar; it's a place where generations of Norfolk children have embarked on their unique journeys. We are immensely proud to continue its legacy as a nurturing environment where children can flourish, develop, and, most importantly, be themselves.
